Johnny Zepeda President 2027 Manager / Hitting Instructor 

Coach Johnny’s sports journey reflects his passion and dedication. Starting with high school baseball, football, and basketball, he excelled as a top middle infielder at ARC College and earned a baseball scholarship to Abilene Christian University, where he achieved a .448 batting average and multiple honors. He transitioned to coaching at American River College and later earned a Master’s in Kinesiology from St. Mary's College. Inspired by his daughter’s love for softball, Johnny founded USA Premier in 2020, growing it from 14U to 18U teams. Under his leadership, over 15 players have secured Division 1 or 2 scholarships. Johnny remains dedicated to coaching and inspiring the next generation of athletes.

Tony Aldridge / 2027 Coach / Hitting Instructor

Tony has dedicated over 15 years to coaching baseball and softball, influencing athletes from youth to collegiate levels. His journey began at American River College, where he earned NAIA All-American honors and was recognized as a five-tool athlete. In 2021, Tony’s coaching career was reignited when Coach Johnny invited him to join USA Premier. Embracing this new opportunity, Tony transitioned to coaching girls' softball, leading 14U, 16U, and 18U teams alongside Coach Johnny. His experience has been rewarding, as he helps young female athletes reach their potential.

Darrell Bowles / 2026 Manager

Coach Darrell has been coaching with USA Premier since 2020. Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada he received a scholarship to play baseball at San Diego State University and was the starting first baseman. He loves to dedicate his time to coaching with a focus on hitting and working on the mental positivity of the game with his players.

Ricc Fernandez / Player Development Manager

Coach Ricc has strong background in baseball and softball. Ricc played college baseball at Sierra College, hitting .340 and was a standout defensive player. His semi-pro career included stints with the Nevada County Cubs and Beals Royals. Ricc spent a decade in men’s fastpitch softball, competing in five national championships. Over the past 12 years, Ricc has coached girls’ fastpitch travel teams at various levels, and for the last 7 years, at Whitney High School, working with both JV and varsity teams. Currently, Ricc is the Outfield Coach at American River College, specializing in defensive skills, while also instructing infield and hitting techniques and the lead Player Development Manager for USA Premier.
