Coach Johnny’s journey in sports is a testament to passion and dedication. As a respected coach and President of USA Premier, his career began in high school playing baseball, football, and basketball. At ARC College, Johnny became a top middle infielder in California, which set the stage for his success. He earned a baseball scholarship to Abilene Christian University (ACU), where he achieved a .448 batting average and multiple all-league and all-region honors. Transitioning to coaching, Johnny served as hitting coordinator and recruiting specialist at American River College and later returned as a recruiting coordinator and assistant coach. With a Master’s in Kinesiology from St. Mary's College, Johnny continued to refine his coaching skills. Inspired by his daughter’s passion for softball, he founded USA Premier in 2020, starting with 14U teams and expanding to 18U. Johnnys first recruiting class was 2023 where 11 players received scholarships. Under his leadership, over 15 players have now secured Division 1 or 2 scholarships. Today, Johnny remain actively involved in coaching and advocating for our athletes, dedicated to their development and success. His journey reflects the transformative power of sports and mentorship, aiming to inspire the next generation of athletes.
